JVC's award winning performance at BVE
A big thank you to everyone who visited the JVC stand at Broadcast Video Expo this year; we hope you managed to see all the products and gather the information you needed. We are very pleased to announce that we were awarded the 'Best Product Launch' prize for our brand new GY-HMQ10 handheld 4K camcorder. At four times the resolution of full HD, visitors were able to see the stunning cinema-quality recordings for themselves on our 4K D-ILA projector in our small theatre on the stand. The GY-HMQ10 is powered by JVC's Falconbrid large-scale integration (LSI) chip for high-speed signal processing and a 1/2-inch CMOS imager with 8.3 million active pixels, it delivers real-time 3840x2160 footage at 24p and 50p. Visitors explored all the features the camera had to offer and were amazed with the quality of the world's first 4K hand-held camcorder.
We also showed our popular GY-HM750 and the GY-HM150 camcorders, along with the GY-HM790 studio camera with fibre connectivity at BVE. These cameras feature dual SDHC card recording with two memory card slots – enough for up to six hours of continuous HD recording. The cameras were also in prime position at the front of the show next to our Creation Truck, which housed the KM-H3000 digital production switcher.
Our DT-V multi-format LCD monitors, both current and upcoming models, were featured at BVE. Ideal for critical OB and studio applications, and widely used throughout the post and broadcast industries, many of the monitors feature a superimposed waveform monitor and improved latency of less than one frame.
